Luciana Ceccatto Farah
Luciana Ceccatto Farah is a Brazilian visual artist and filmmaker based in Qatar. She is a board member at Mucii Pictures in Kenya, where she designs lab/retreat experiences and is a Research and Development advisor for new projects and programs. Luciana's feature documentary Somebody Clap for Me (Uganda/Brazil/Qatar, 2017), screened at more than 30 festivals worldwide and won Best Feature Documentary at both the Festival International du Film PanAfricain de Cannes and the Cameroon International Film Festival in 2018. Luciana has taught stop-motion animation in Harare and Nairobi, supported by ASMO Kenya, Africalia, and the International Images Film Festival for Women. As a program advisor for Derjan, she mentors young filmmakers in Yemen and writes brand stories for The Creative Union.
