Alaka Film Lab
The Alaka Film Lab is a development and co-production lab for film projects that fosters connections between experts and emerging talents from 11 Central African countries, while also linking African talent with professional networks around the world. Formerly known as the Yaoundé Film Lab, this lab is a critical space for the essential stages of reflection, writing, development, and co-production of film projects in Africa. It also serves as a venue for presenting incubated projects to potential partners such as producers, institutions, funding bodies, and distributors, who provide grants to the best projects so they can continue the production processes.
