Emerson Dindo
Emerson Dindo is the co-founder of Portátil and DiALAB, leading projects in collaboration with countries like Nigeria, Mozambique, and the United States. In recent years, his projects have secured significant funding from organizations such as Sundance Documentary (USA), William Greaves Fund (USA), and Docubox East African Documentary Film Fund (Kenya). Dindo is the director of the film Kakawa, producer of the series Retrato Íntimo , and served as executive producer for the series O Enigma da Energia Escura (Globo). He also directs DiALAB, a platform that runs one of Brazil’s leading acceleration programs for audiovisual projects.
DiALAB
DiALAB is an international platform dedicated to career development, project consulting, and networking for Black audiovisual professionals. Since its creation in 2018, DiALAB has actively engaged with various states in Brazil and countries across Latin America, Europe, and Africa. Its objective is to create conditions for Black both male and female audiovisual professionals to compete for space in the industry, ensuring that well-developed narratives reach the screens with aesthetic refinement, market potential, and connections to a broad audience.
