Daiane Silva
She began her career at the Video Workshop of the Liceu de Artes e Ofícios da Bahia. She holds a Master's degree in Education (UFBA) and completed the Documentary Filmmaking course at the International Film and TV School of Cuba. She has experience in short film production, curating and programming for non-commercial screening venues, and research for feature film and TV series projects, including the authorial project Mãe Preta, Sala Walter da Silveira, and Circuito Luiz Orlando de Exibição Audiovisual. She works in coordination, research, and consulting for the development and execution of film, training, and education projects. She is a member of the Association of Black Audiovisual Professionals. She is the Director of Audiovisual at the Cultural Foundation of the State of Bahia.
Dimas
The Audiovisual Directorate (Dimas) is a sector within the Cultural Foundation of the State of Bahia responsible for planning and executing audiovisual policies in the state. In constant dialogue with industry stakeholders, Dimas supports audiovisual production by providing resources and assistance to creators, expanding access to Bahian audiovisual works through new exhibition platforms and facilitated access to a broader audience, offering educational programs to enhance technical skills and public awareness towards the artform, and preserving rare audiovisual works from Bahia.
