Daiane Rosário
Executive and production director with a focus on cinema, she has over 14 years of experience. She is the creator and general director of the Mahomed Bamba Itinerant Black Cinema Festival (MIMB), where she advocates for the expansion of platforms that explore new narratives of race and gender in cinematic productions. Currently, she serves as a planning producer for the Drama Department at Globo Studios. She is pursuing a Master’s degree in the Multidisciplinary Graduate Program in Culture and Society at UFBA and holds a degree in Arts with a focus on Cinema and Audiovisual from UFBA. Her body of work includes TV programs, series, films, web series, and music videos. She also works as a film curator and art educator, training young people and adults through professional courses and workshops in cinema and audiovisual production.
MercaMIMB
MERCAMIMB is the first audiovisual business environment organized by the Itinerant Black Cinema Showcase - Mahomed Bamba (MIMB) for Black filmmakers and creators from all over Brazil. The event aims to bring independent Brazilian producers and content creators closer to key players and platforms in the industry, including TV channels, distributors, programmers, co-producers, investors, and other national and international market agents.
