Tales of the accidental city

Quênia | 2021 | 54 min | Ficção | Livre

Direção: Maïmouna Jallow
Roteiro: Maïmouna Jallow
Fotografia: Gregory Kiwo
Elenco: Wakio Mzenge, Eddy Kimani, Mercy Mutisya, Tana Kioko, Martina Ayoro

Synopsis

In this humorous and biting film, a motley crew of Nairobi residents come together via Zoom for a court-mandated anger management class. Diana, Jacinda, Louis Njoroge and Sarah Obama must explain how they got there and, with the help of their peculiar therapist, find a way to heal their wounds. As they exchange stories, deeper issues of class, inequality, and social injustices endured by many African urbanites come to light.
