Synopsis

The film follows three women who were abandoned by their husbands- Ghita, Latifa, and Karima- and their long fight for divorce. After waiting for years, they decide to turn to the courts of their regions. The procedure proves to be not only a long but also an absurd one as the women have to prove first that their husbands are absent.


About the director

Born in Morocco, Merieme Addou graduated in Law from Mohammed V University. She lives and works in Rabat as a freelance correspondent for Radio D-W. She is also a producer at Camino Media, a Moroccan production company based in Rabat. From 2005 to 2008, Merieme worked as a BBC correspondent in Morocco. She holds a Masters in Documentary from the University of Tetouan and was an associate producer at Casablanca Calling.
